Interns

Each summer the Center selects a few promising students from nearby high schools, local college students home for the summer, and UCI undergraduates who are interested in working with a university faculty member or graduate student on a project designed to both increase the students’ sensitivity to ethical issues and allow them to become engaged in scholarly research.

Graduate students willing to be mentors should send a one-page description of a project on which they are working. Students wishing to be mentored should send a letter of inquiry and include a vita or resume to Sandy Cushman, scushman@uci.edu.

Click below for reports from interns who worked on projects such as altruism, gender equality, genocide, and forgiveness after acts of terrorism.
