Luce Initiative on Religion and International Affairs for a project - headed by Cecelia Lynch, political science professor – that encourages dialogue between scholars and religious leaders on the issue of ethics in humanitarianism.

In her new book, Ethics in an Age of Terror and Genocide, political scientist Kristen Renwick Monroe sought answers to these questions through interviews with bystanders, Nazi supporters, and rescuers of Jews during the Holocaust.
